Library Activities

Orientation :Every year library orientation and library tour will be arranged to all the is year students both in U.G and P.G.

Training on E resources: Special training is given to staff and students in doing online courses and usage of e resources.

Project works:Encouraging students and staff in doing projects on N list programmes and library services.

Moodle Administrators: Dr. R. Syamalamba, Librarian and  and Mrs. Visala, Asst.Librarian  are doing Moodle administration for online courses

Workshops Organized:

• Organized a one day workshop on : Library automation and Networking” on January 20th 2012 for the librarians of degree colleges. More than 20 librarians in and around Krishna and Guntur District attended the workshop.

• Organized a one day work shop on “Moodle for blended learning” on 20eth March 2012 for all the staff members. Dr. Koneru Indira attended the workshop as a resource person and explained about moodle features and given hands on training on the systems for all the staff members.

• Organised 'MOODLE workshop' to the staff members on 29th and 30eth December 2014. Dr. Indira Koneru, e-learning manager, ICFAI attended as resource person for training programme.

• Organized a National workshop on “Open Educational Resources (OER) on 20th January 2017 in Maris Stella College library. More than 72 members participated from different parts of the country. Teaching faculty, library professionals, research scholars are among them.

• Orgnized Natonal workshop on Library Automation and networking in association with "Verus Solution's Pvt Ltd on 21st July 2017

• Organized one day workshop on moodle administration on 28th October 2017 for moodle administrators. 

• Organized one day training programme and hands on training for staff in creation of blogs on 13th Feb, 2018
