Refreshment Program has been organized by Dept. of Library and Information Science for Intermediate II Year, Degree II Year and III Year Students. Mrs S Kalyani Nagalakshmi has taken this Program and explained about the Usage of Updates resources of and services of Library on 23.09.2020.

Guest Lecture for II & III Year degree
students by retired Librarian of Maris Stella College Dr. R Syamalamba has
given detailed Information about open Education resources and its usage was
organized by Dept. of Library & Information Science, Maris Stella College.
Book – Review Competition
As a Part of National Library Week Celebrations
Dept. of Library and Information Science, Maris Stella College Book Review club
organised a Book Review Competition on “ The Most Remarkable Book I Have Read”
for the Participants from all parts of India, on 14th – 20th Nov,
2020. Prizes have been given to winners as First Prize Rs. 1000/- Second Prize
Rs 500/-.
Ten members from all over India Participated. The
Selection Team was scrutinized and decided to announce Prizes.
First Prize Swarnali De, Lorette College, KolkataRs.1000/-
Second Prize: V Anusha, Maris Stella College,Vijayawada Rs.500/-
Orientation for freshers
Orientation about the usage of library services and resources has been organised by Mrs. S Visalakshmi, Librarian Maris Stella College auditorium on 10th Dec 2020 for all freshers from Intermediate and Graduation.
